Flight Attendant - NetJets Large Cabin
Purpose of Position
The Flight Attendant plays a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional air transportation experience for NetJets Owners and passengers. Beyond ensuring a safe and secure flight environment, the Flight Attendant provides personalized and attentive inflight service, embodying the highest standards of professionalism and exceeding expectations. This multifaceted role encompasses a range of responsibilities, including inflight chef, service specialist, and safety professional, all while maintaining a consistently professional demeanor.
Tasks and Responsibilities
The Flight Attendant is responsible for:
- Safety and Guest Experience:
- Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures outlined in the Flight Attendant Manual (FAM), Service Procedures Checklist, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Conducting pre-flight inspections of the aircraft cabin.
- Welcoming Owners and passengers, providing a comprehensive briefing on the aircraft's features, and delivering a thorough safety demonstration.
- Acting as a subject matter expert on all onboard safety, entertainment, and comfort features.
- Catering and Service:
- Procuring catering from external sources when necessary.
- Delivering exceptional in-flight service, including the responsible handling of alcohol, serving catering, preparing beds, and meticulously adhering to Owner preferences and profiles.
- Ensuring proper stowage of cabin baggage.
- Accommodating Owners with pets and those who smoke.
- Teamwork and Compliance:
- Collaborating effectively within a team/crew environment to ensure adherence to all applicable safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Acting as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets from the time of arrival at the Fixed Base Operator (FBO) until safe landing at their destination and departure from the final FBO.
- Promptly communicating any cabin maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the Pilot in Command.
- Completing all necessary paperwork related to inventory management, passdowns, and crew reports.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Performing other duties as assigned, based on individual assignments.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Certifications and Licenses
Applicable certifications and licenses, as required.
Years of Experience
2-4 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other (KSAOs)
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with a focus on hospitality, customer service, business, or culinary skills.
- Relevant work experience in customer service, culinary, service industry, aviation, or related fields.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in personal computing, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Minimum age of twenty-one years.
- Compliance with aircraft dimension requirements for seating and emergency procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to rapid changes and maintain flexibility.
- Capacity to manage personal rest schedules to ensure readiness for flight duty during tours.
- Availability for duty assignments of up to fourteen hours per day, spanning up to eight days, potentially encompassing different time zones and extreme weather conditions.
- Willingness to travel away from home for seven or more days and nights, including overnight stays in hotels.
- Ability to obtain necessary airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
- Successful completion of Transportation Security Administration required background screening.
- Possession of a valid passport and ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
- Valid State driver's license.
- Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.
- Service-oriented demeanor with a neat and well-groomed appearance.
- Proven ability to make a positive impression and effectively interact with passengers.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly under pressure.
- Capacity to make quick and accurate decisions while maintaining attention to detail, both technically and from a passenger-service perspective.
- Physical ability to exert up to 60 pounds of force occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly.
- Comfort working around animals, including handling and care before, during, and after flights.
- Willingness to conduct flights for Owners who smoke.
- Maintenance of Flight Attendant Certification and FAA requirements post-hire.
- Successful completion of the NetJets Part 135 Flight Attendant Training Program.
