Purpose of Position
The Flight Attendant is entrusted with delivering an unparalleled air transportation experience while upholding the highest safety standards on each and every flight. Serving as the face of NetJets Large Cabin, the Flight Attendant not only ensures safe transport but also cultivates an exceptional inflight service experience for every NetJets Owner and passenger. This role demands versatility, seamlessly transitioning between inflight chef, service professional, and safety expert, all while maintaining an unwavering professional demeanor.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Safety Champion: Prioritizing the safety of all Owners and passengers, the Flight Attendant adheres rigorously to the Flight Attendant Manual (FAM), Service Procedures Checklist, and Standard Operating Procedures. This includes performing preflight checks, warmly greeting Owners/passengers, providing comprehensive safety briefings, and serving as an onboard expert for all safety, entertainment, and comfort features of the aircraft.
- Culinary and Service Excellence: Demonstrating adaptability, the Flight Attendant secures catering from external sources when required and delivers impeccable inflight service. This encompasses the responsible handling of alcohol, catering presentation, meticulous preparation of sleeping arrangements, and adherence to detailed Owner notes and profiles.
- Logistical Expertise: Ensuring the cabin is a haven of order, the Flight Attendant expertly manages baggage stowage and facilitates a seamless experience for Owners traveling with pets or with specific needs, such as smoking accommodations.
- Teamwork and Communication: Thriving in a collaborative crew environment, the Flight Attendant upholds compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory protocols. Acting as a vital liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets, the Flight Attendant ensures seamless communication from FBO arrival to final destination departure. This includes promptly relaying any cabin maintenance discrepancies to the Pilot in Command.
- Administrative Diligence: The Flight Attendant maintains accurate records by completing all necessary paperwork, including inventory management, passdowns, and required crew reports.
Education
- High School Diploma required
Experience
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in customer service, culinary arts, service industry, or aviation

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)
- Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in hospitality, customer service, business, or culinary arts.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, particularly in high-pressure situations.
- Proficient in personal computing, including MS Office Suite.
- Ability to make sound, timely decisions with a keen eye for detail, both from a technical and passenger-service perspective.
- Capacity to lift and maneuver up to 60 pounds occasionally and work in close proximity to animals.
- Willingness to accommodate the needs of Owners who smoke.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends, holidays, and overnight trips spanning multiple time zones.
- Ability to secure necessary airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, pass TSA background checks, and obtain a valid passport for unrestricted international travel.
- Valid State driver's license and fluency in spoken and written English are required.
- Must present a professional and polished appearance, exhibiting exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to make a positive first impression.
- Must successfully complete the NetJets Part 135 Flight Attendant Training Program and maintain Flight Attendant Certification and FAA requirements post-hire.
