Position Summary
The Pilot is primarily responsible for providing a superior air transportation experience, maintaining an exceptional safety record on every flight. As a representative of NetJets, the Pilot delivers technically accurate and safe transportation while also ensuring an exceptional service experience for every Owner and passenger.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure the safe operation of the aircraft from taxi, take-off, and landing, adhering strictly to FAA guidelines, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM) or Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs). Greet Owners/passengers pre-flight, make introductions, provide detailed briefings on the flight/trip, verify itinerary, provide weather updates, conduct safety briefings, and explain any itinerary changes.

Provide required in-flight service, including the handling of alcohol and service of catering.

Load and properly stow all baggage on the aircraft as needed.

Accommodate and conduct flights for Owners traveling with pets and those who smoke.

Serve as the final authority on the aircraft regarding all operational areas, including compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory guidance.

Act as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival at the FBO through safe landing at the final destination and departure from the final FBO.

Communicate any maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to NetJets via the appropriate Aircraft Maintenance Control Center (MCC) Controller on duty for the fleet.

Properly complete all required paperwork associated with maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies.

Perform other duties as assigned depending on specific assignment requirements.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Certifications & Licenses
- Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate required prior to Indoctrination Training.
- Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate required.
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator’s Permit required.
- Valid State Driver's License required.
- Valid Passport required, enabling international travel without restrictions.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements (KSAOs)

Possess or meet the requirements for an FAA ATP, Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with multi-engine rating in accordance with 14 CFR § 61.160.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.

Meet flight time requirements including:
- 1,500 hours total flight time experience or
- 1,250 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate or
- 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification or
- 1,000 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate
- 200 hours cross-country (>50 nm) flight time.
- 250 hours fixed-wing Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
- 100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings.
- 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight, excluding simulator time).
- 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel in and out of the country without restriction.
- Ability to work varying hours, including day and night shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be extremely flexible and capable of adjusting to rapid changes in schedule or conditions.
- Ability to effectively manage rest to be prepared for flight duty at all times during a tour.

Understand that duty periods may last up to fourteen hours per day for up to eight days, potentially spanning different time zones and extreme weather conditions.

Ability to be away from home for seven or more days and nights while on duty, requiring hotel stays.
- Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or U.S. Customs security badges.

Ability to pass Transportation Security Administration (TSA) required background screening.

Must be service-oriented with a neat, well-groomed appearance, demonstrating the ability to make a positive impression and effectively interact with passengers.

Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Ability to work around animals, including handling and care prior to, during, and after Owner flights.

Base Salary Range
$86,015 – $117,706
