Extensive Crew Bases: With over 200 bases across the contiguous U.S., pilots have the freedom to live where they choose. Base selections are not seniority-based, allowing pilots of any tenure to select their preferred home base. Joining NetJets may not require relocation but can open new possibilities for pilots and their families.

Flexible Schedules: Pilots can select the schedule that best suits their needs and adjust it every four months. Options include:
- 7 days on / 7 days off
- 8 days on / 6 days off
- CC52 – 52 days over 4 months (base-duty days: 13)
- CC60 – 60 days over 4 months (base-duty days: 15)
- CC72 – 72 days over 4 months (base-duty days: 18)
- CC76 – 76 days over 4 months (base-duty days: 19)

Role Overview
The Pilot is responsible for providing a superior air transportation experience while maintaining an impeccable safety record on every flight. As the face of NetJets, the Pilot delivers technically accurate and safe transportation coupled with an exceptional service experience for Owners and passengers.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe operation of the aircraft from taxi, take-off, and landing in accordance with FAA guidelines, Original Equipment Manufacturer's (OEM) Checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM) or Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs).
- Greet Owners and passengers pre-flight, provide introductions, brief them on the specific flight, verify the itinerary, offer weather updates and safety briefings, and explain any changes to the itinerary.
- Provide in-flight service as needed, including handling alcohol and serving catering.
- Properly load and stow all baggage on the aircraft.
- Accommodate and conduct flights for Owners traveling with pets and those who smoke.
- Serve as the final authority on the aircraft regarding all operational areas, ensuring compliance with applicable safety and regulatory guidance.
- Act as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival at the FBO until safe landing at the final destination and departure from the final FBO.
- Communicate any maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the NetJets Maintenance Control Center (MCC) Controller for their fleet.
- Complete all necessary paperwork associated with maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies.
- Perform other duties as assigned depending on the specific assignment.

Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Certifications and Licenses
- Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
- Valid State driver’s license.
- Valid passport with the ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel in and out of the country without restriction.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAOs)
- Hold an FAA ATP, Restricted ATP (R-ATP), or meet the requirements for an FAA ATP or R-ATP certificate with a multi-engine rating, per FAA 61.160. This includes:
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Total flight time experience: 1,500 hours; or 1,250 hours with an appropriate university R-ATP certificate; or 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification; or 1,000 hours with an appropriate university R-ATP certificate.
- 200 hours of cross-country (>50 nm) flight time.
- 250 hours of fixed-wing Pilot In Command (PIC) time.
- 100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings.
- 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight, excludes simulator time).
- ATP written exam completed prior to the start of Indoctrination Training.
- 50 hours of fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
- Ability to work varying hours, including day and night shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Extreme flexibility and the ability to adjust to rapid changes.
- Capability to manage rest effectively to be prepared for flight duty at all times during a tour.
- Ability to handle duty periods lasting up to fourteen hours per day for up to eight days, potentially spanning different time zones and extreme weather conditions.
- Willingness to be away from home for seven or more days and nights while on duty, staying in hotels.
- Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
- Ability to pass Transportation Security Administration (TSA) required background screening.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, fluently speaking, and understanding the English language.
- Demonstrated service-oriented approach with a neat, well-groomed appearance and the ability to make a positive impression, including strong capability to effectively interact with passengers.
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly under pressure.
- Ability to make quick and accurate decisions with close attention to detail, both technically and from a passenger-service perspective.
- Physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
- Ability to work around animals, including their handling and care before, during, and after Owner flights.
- Ability to conduct flights for Owners who smoke.
Base Salary Range
$86,015 – $117,706
