First Officer
This position supports the Pilot in Command in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of each flight. In the event of the Commander's incapacitation, the First Officer assumes command. The role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service, ensuring both operational safety and customer satisfaction.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Execute all duties delegated by the Commander to guarantee the safety of all flights and passengers. This includes adherence to the aircraft Flight Manual, company Standard Operating Procedures, and all applicable legislation.
- Assist the Commander in the safe and efficient execution of each flight.
- Independently verify the accurate navigation of the aircraft, continuously monitoring its geographical position and ensuring safe terrain clearance.
- Perform all operational procedures and checklists in accordance with the Airplane Flight Manual, Operations Manuals, and as directed by the Commander.
- Report any occurrence or incident that has endangered or may have endangered safety to the Commander.
- Report any fault, failure, malfunction, or defect that may affect the airworthiness or safe operation of the aeroplane to the Commander.
- Provide outstanding customer service, contributing to overall customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other (KSAOs):
- A minimum of 1500 hours total flight time and a maximum of 2000 hours total flight time. Applicants with 1000 total turbine hours may be considered.
- Type-rating on GL6000 is preferred.
- Must be based in the South of England.
- Possession of a valid EASA Airline Transport Pilot Licence with appropriate type ratings is mandatory.
- Must hold a valid European Union class 1 medical certificate.
- Must demonstrate a history of excellent performance.
- Extensive European flight experience is required.
- A strong commercial aviation background (EUOPS and/or AIROPS environment experience is an advantage).
- Military or airline training is considered an advantage.
- Fluency in English (preferably level 6) is required. Knowledge of two or more European languages is an advantage.
