The Pilot serves as a brand ambassador, providing exceptional service to NetJets Owners and passengers, and ensuring technically accurate and safe transportation.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures the safe operation of the aircraft during all phases of flight, adhering to FAA guidelines, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) checklists, the NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM) or Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs).
- Greets Owners/passengers pre-flight, provides introductions, briefs them on flight specifics, verifies itineraries, delivers weather updates and safety briefings, and explains any itinerary changes.
- Provides in-flight service, including responsible handling of alcohol and catering service.
- Loads and properly stows baggage on the aircraft.
- Handles and conducts flights for Owners with pets and those who smoke.
- Acts as the final authority on the aircraft, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory guidance.
- Liaises between Owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival at the FBO to safe landing at their final destination.
- Communicates maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to NetJets via the Maintenance Control Center (MCC).
- Completes all necessary paperwork associated with maintenance issues.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:
High School Diploma.
Certifications and Licenses:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) written exam completion.
- First Class Medical Certificate.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs):
- FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or eligibility for FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with multi-engine rating (IAW 61.160).
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Flight time requirements:
- 1,500 hours total flight time experience, or
- 1,250 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate, or
- 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification, or
- 1,000 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate.
- 200 hours cross-country (>50 nm) flight time.
- 250 hours fixed-wing PIC.
- 100 hours of night flying (or 75 hours with >=45 night takeoffs and landings).
- 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight, excludes simulator time).
- 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
- Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator’s Permit.
- Valid passport with unrestricted international travel capabilities.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel in and out of the country without restriction.
- Ability to work varying hours, including day and night, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Exceptional flexibility and adaptability to rapid changes.
- Ability to manage rest effectively to ensure preparedness for flight duty.
- Willingness to be away from home for extended periods (seven or more days and nights) staying in hotels.
- Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
- Ability to pass Transportation Security Administration required background screening.
- Valid State driver’s license.
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).
- Service-oriented with a neat, well-groomed appearance and strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially under pressure.
- Ability to make quick, accurate decisions with attention to detail.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly.
- Comfort working around animals, including handling and care.
- Ability to conduct flights for Owners who smoke.

Base Salary Range:
$86,015 – $117,706
