Pilot

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, adhering to FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, and company operating manuals. This includes pre-flight briefings, in-flight service, and ensuring a superior experience for all Owners and passengers. The Pilot will also act as a liaison between passengers and NetJets, managing all aspects of the flight experience from arrival at the FBO to final destination. This role requires a high degree of flexibility, as duties may include handling flights with pets or smokers and adjusting to varied schedules and rapid changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures safe aircraft operation from taxi to landing.
- Greets and briefs passengers on flight details, weather updates, and safety protocols.
- Provides in-flight service, including catering and handling of alcohol.
- Loads and stows baggage appropriately.
- Manages flights for passengers with pets or those who smoke.
- Acts as the final authority on all operational matters during flight.
- Liaises between passengers and NetJets, from FBO arrival to departure.
- Communicates maintenance discrepancies to the Maintenance Control Center.
- Completes necessary paperwork related to maintenance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma.
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) written exam completed.
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or eligibility for these certificates with a multi-engine rating.
- 1,500 hours of total flight time, or 1,250 hours with an appropriate university R-ATP certificate, or 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification, or 1,000 hours with an appropriate university R-ATP certificate.
- 200 hours of cross-country flight time.
- 250 hours of fixed-wing Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
- 100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings.
- 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight, excluding simulator time).
- 50 hours of fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
- Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator’s Permit.
- Valid passport for international travel.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Exceptional adaptability to rapid changes.
- Ability to manage rest for flight duty readiness.
- Capability to work long hours, away from home for extended periods, and travel across time zones.
- Ability to secure required airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
- Successful completion of a Transportation Security Administration background screening.
- Valid State driver’s license.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Service-oriented demeanor with a professional appearance and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong oral and written communication capabilities.
- Proven ability to make quick, accurate decisions and pay close attention to detail.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 30 pounds frequently.
- Ability to work around animals and to accommodate passengers who smoke.
Base Salary Range:
$69,932 - $95,696
