Key Responsibilities:

The Pilot is entrusted with the paramount responsibility of providing safe and reliable air transportation while delivering exceptional service to NetJets Owners and passengers. They will:

  • Ensure safe aircraft operation during all phases of flight, adhering to FAA regulations, OEM guidelines, and NetJets Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Greet Owners/passengers, provide pre-flight briefings, and keep them informed of any flight or itinerary changes.
  • Deliver exceptional in-flight service, including beverage and catering management.
  • Load and stow passenger baggage.
  • Manage flights for Owners with pets and those who smoke.
  • Act as the final authority on all operational matters during a flight.
  • Serve as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets, from arrival at the FBO to departure at the final destination.
  • Communicate maintenance issues to the NetJets Maintenance Control Center.
  • Complete necessary documentation for any maintenance discrepancies.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP), Restricted ATP, or meet the requirements for FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with multi-engine rating.
  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Total flight time: 1,500 hours, or 1,250 with a university R-ATP certificate, or 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification, or 1,000 hours with a university R-ATP certificate.
  • 200 hours cross-country flight time.
  • 250 hours fixed-wing Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
  • 100 hours of night flying (or 75 with appropriate takeoffs and landings).
  • 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in flight).
  • 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
  • Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate.
  • FCC Restricted Radio Operator’s Permit.
  • Valid passport with no international travel restrictions.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to work varying hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to manage rest effectively to be prepared for flight duty.
  • Ability to secure required airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
  • Ability to pass Transportation Security Administration background screening.
  • Valid State driver’s license.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Service-oriented with a professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to make quick, accurate decisions with attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to work around animals and to accommodate passengers who smoke.
  • Completed ATP Written Exam prior to start of Indoctrination Training.

Base Salary Range:

$69,932 – $95,696
