This individual will play a crucial role in providing exceptional and safe air transportation services to NetJets Owners and passengers. The NetJets Pilot acts as a brand ambassador, delivering unparalleled service while ensuring the secure and efficient operation of aircraft. This role requires strict adherence to FAA guidelines, manufacturer specifications, NetJets' operational manuals, and standard operating procedures. Responsibilities include pre-flight briefings, in-flight service, baggage management, and handling flights for passengers with pets or those who smoke. The Pilot serves as the final authority on the aircraft and acts as the key liaison between passengers and NetJets from arrival to final destination.
This role demands flexibility and adaptability, requiring the ability to work varying hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Pilots must manage their rest to remain prepared for duty throughout their tours, which may last up to fourteen hours per day for up to eight days. Travel may span different time zones and diverse weather conditions, requiring overnight stays in hotels away from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate aircraft in compliance with all regulations and procedures.
- Greet and brief passengers on flight details, weather updates, and safety protocols.
- Provide in-flight service, including handling catering and alcoholic beverages.
- Load and stow baggage securely.
- Manage flights for passengers with pets or those who smoke.
- Act as the final authority on the aircraft, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Serve as a liaison between passengers and NetJets, from arrival to final destination.
- Communicate maintenance issues to the Maintenance Control Center.
- Complete necessary paperwork related to maintenance issues.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Certifications and Licenses:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) written exam completed.
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator’s Permit.
- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel in and out of the country without restrictions
- Valid State driver’s license.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or eligibility for these certificates as per 61.160.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- 1,500 hours total flight time or relevant reduced flight hour ATP certification as specified by the FAA.
- 200 hours of cross-country flight time.
- 250 hours of fixed-wing pilot-in-command (PIC) time.
- 100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with specified night takeoffs and landings.
- 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated).
- 50 hours of fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to make quick and accurate decisions.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly.
- Ability to work around animals.
Base Salary Range:
$69,932 - $95,696
