Responsibilities:
The Pilot is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of aircraft, adhering to FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Aircraft Operating Manuals (AOM), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This includes pre-flight briefings, in-flight service (including catering and alcohol service as required), baggage handling, and acting as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets personnel from arrival at the FBO to departure. Pilots are the final authority on aircraft operation and are responsible for reporting maintenance issues through the Maintenance Control Center (MCC). Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
- Valid passport with unrestricted international travel authorization.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel internationally without restriction.
- Minimum flight experience requirements:
- 1,500 hours total flight time; OR
- 1,250 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate; OR
- 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification; OR
- 1,000 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate.
- 200 hours cross-country flight time (>50 nm).
- 250 hours fixed-wing PIC.
- 100 hours of night flying (or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings).
- 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight, excludes simulator time).
- 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
- ATP written examination completed prior to Indoctrination Training.
- Valid State driver's license.
- Fluent English language proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly.
- Ability to work varying hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances and manage rest effectively for flight duty.
- Ability to work with animals and handle flights with smoking passengers.
- Ability to obtain necessary airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
- Ability to pass TSA background screening.
- Demonstrated service orientation, professional appearance, and exceptional interpersonal skills. Excellent communication (oral and written), decision-making, and attention to detail are essential.
