Purpose of the Role
The Pilot is the embodiment of the NetJets brand, responsible for delivering a safe and superior air transportation experience on every flight. This role demands not only technical proficiency but also a commitment to exceptional customer service, ensuring that every NetJets owner and passenger enjoys a seamless and comfortable journey.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the safe operation of the aircraft throughout all phases of flight, adhering to FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs).
- Providing a welcoming and informative pre-flight experience for owners and passengers, including introductions, flight briefings, itinerary verification, weather updates, and safety demonstrations.
- Delivering impeccable in-flight service, including catering management and accommodating specific passenger needs.
- Managing luggage handling and stowage, ensuring a comfortable and organized cabin environment.
- Serving as the ultimate authority on the aircraft, prioritizing safety and regulatory compliance in all aspects of operation.
- Acting as a liaison between owners, passengers, and NetJets throughout the entire travel experience, from FBO arrival to departure.
- Promptly communicating any maintenance issues or discrepancies to the NetJets Maintenance Control Center, meticulously documenting all relevant information.
Qualifications
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate or eligibility for an FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with a multi-engine rating, meeting the requirements outlined in 61.160.
- A minimum of 1,500 hours of total flight time experience, adaptable based on specific R-ATP qualifications and military experience.
- 200 hours of cross-country flight time exceeding 50 nautical miles.
- 250 hours of fixed-wing Pilot-in-Command (PIC) experience.
- Extensive instrument, night flying, and multi-engine flight time, adhering to FAA requirements.
- Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
- Valid passport with unrestricted international travel capabilities.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. with unrestricted travel permissions.
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Impeccable communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a service-oriented mindset.
- Exceptional decision-making abilities, prioritizing safety and passenger satisfaction.
- Physical capability to manage luggage and perform required tasks within the aircraft environment.
