Purpose of the Position
The Pilot is responsible for delivering a superior air transportation experience while maintaining the highest safety standards on every flight. As the face of NetJets, you will not only ensure technically proficient and safe flights, but also cultivate an exceptional service experience for each NetJets Owner and passenger.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Execute safe aircraft operation in accordance with FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets FOM/AOM, and SOPs.
- Provide pre-flight greetings, introductions, and briefings to Owners/passengers, verifying itineraries, providing weather updates, conducting safety briefings, and explaining any changes.
- Deliver exceptional in-flight service, including catering and beverage services.
- Manage baggage loading and stowage.
- Accommodate flights for Owners with pets and those who smoke.
- Serve as the final authority on the aircraft, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Act as a liaison for Owners/passengers throughout their journey, from FBO arrival to departure.
- Communicate and document any maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to NetJets MCC.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Certifications and Licenses:
- Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
- First Class Medical Certificate.
- Experience: While specific years of experience are not specified, candidates must meet the rigorous standards required for FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certification, including:
- Age requirement of 21 years.
- Flight time experience as outlined by the FAA (61.160).
- A combination of cross-country, PIC, night flying, and instrument time as detailed in the original document.
- Additional requirements including a valid passport, authorization to work in the U.S., ability to obtain required security badges, and a valid driver's license.
