Purpose of the Position
The Pilot holds the critical responsibility of delivering a superior air transportation experience marked by an unwavering commitment to safety on every flight. Serving as the face of NetJets, the Pilot not only ensures technically proficient and safe transportation but also provides an exceptional service experience for each NetJets Owner and passenger.
Responsibilities:
- Execute safe aircraft operations encompassing taxiing, takeoff, and landing, adhering to FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets FOM/AOM, and SOPs.
- Extend pre-flight greetings to Owners/passengers, introduce themselves, conduct comprehensive flight briefings, verify itineraries, provide weather updates, deliver safety briefings, and explain any itinerary adjustments.
- Provide impeccable in-flight service as required, including the responsible handling of alcohol and catering services.
- Manage baggage handling, ensuring proper loading and stowage on the aircraft.
- Accommodate and proficiently conduct flights for Owners traveling with pets and those who smoke.
- Serve as the ultimate authority on their assigned aircraft, overseeing all aspects of operation and ensuring compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory protocols.
- Act as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets, providing seamless support from arrival at the FBO to departure at the final destination.
- Communicate any aircraft maintenance issues or discrepancies effectively to the NetJets Maintenance Control Center (MCC) Controller on duty for their specific fleet.
- Meticulously complete all required documentation related to any maintenance irregularities or discrepancies.
- Adapt to and perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to fulfilling evolving operational needs.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Certifications and Licenses
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) written exam completed
- First Class Medical Certificate
Experience
