Pilot in Command - EMB-550

This position is for an EMB-550 aircraft based in Evansville, Indiana (EVV). Operating under Part 91 regulations, this is a dedicated two-pilot account with an average annual flight time of approximately 250 hours. The operational profile typically involves single-day trips with some overnights, predominantly scheduled on weekdays and booked well in advance.
Please note: This position requires residing within driving distance of the EVV airport and is not suitable for commuting.
The Pilot in Command holds ultimate responsibility for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. The PIC complies with all company and regulatory requirements while consistently delivering an exceptional service experience to passengers.
Key Responsibilities:

**Ensures the Safe Operation of Flight:**
- Guarantees compliance with company and regulatory requirements for crewing and trip assignments.
- Conducts thorough flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks for each assignment.
- Utilizes the Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead briefings and proactively mitigate operational risks.
- Complies strictly with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinates effectively with company personnel. Acts as the designated Ground Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Completes all mandatory aircraft pre-flight tasks, including verifying aircraft maintenance status, to ensure mission readiness. Accurately records all aircraft discrepancies according to company SOPs.
- Monitors and oversees all aircraft ground servicing tasks (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) to ensure completion in accordance with SOPs.
- Delivers comprehensive passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulations. Strives to provide the highest level of customer service and accommodate passengers' special needs, including those with physical challenges.
- Employs Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) principles to ensure clear and timely communication with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.

- Provides superior service to aircraft owners and passengers, actively seeking opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience and promptly resolving any service deviations.
- Collaborates effectively with fellow crew members and internal EJM partners to maintain a consistent, high-quality service experience for owners and passengers, resolving conflicts and challenges constructively.

**Maintains Proficiency and Compliance:**
- Diligently maintains all required regulatory and company training certifications and recency of experience.
- Complies fully with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program, reporting safety or non-compliance concerns through established channels.
Qualifications and Requirements:

- Holds a valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- Possesses a current First Class Medical Certificate.

**Experience:**
- Minimum of 4-6 years of aviation experience is preferred.
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is preferred.

**Minimum Flight Time Requirements:**
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours

**Other Requirements:**
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
- FAA Type Rating in applicable fleet (EMB-550) is required.
