Executive Jet Management Seeks Experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) - EMB-550 - Evansville, IN

EJM is seeking a qualified and dedicated Pilot in Command (PIC) for an EMB-550 aircraft based at Evansville Regional Airport (EVV) in Evansville, Indiana. This position involves flying Part 91 operations, averaging approximately 250 hours annually. Trips are typically single-day, with a mix of occasional overnights, and are scheduled well in advance, primarily on weekdays. This is a non-commutable position requiring the candidate to reside within driving distance of EVV airport.
The Pilot in Command holds the ultimate responsibility for ensuring the aircraft is operated in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner. The PIC adheres to all company and regulatory requirements while consistently delivering an exceptional service experience.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Ensures the Safe Operation of Flight:
- Ensures crewing and trip assignments comply with all company and regulatory requirements.
- Completes comprehensive flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks for each flight.
- Utilizes Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead required briefings and mitigate operational risks effectively.
- Complies strictly with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinates seamlessly with company personnel as needed. Acts as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Completes thorough aircraft pre-flight inspections, including assessing the maintenance status, to ensure the aircraft is mission-capable. Records all aircraft discrepancies meticulously in accordance with company SOPs.
- Ensures diligent monitoring and accomplishment of all aircraft ground servicing requirements (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) according to SOPs.
- Conducts passenger briefings thoroughly, adhering to company policy and regulations. Provides the highest level of customer service, addressing any special needs of passengers (e.g., physically challenged).
- Employs Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) techniques to communicate clearly and promptly with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
Delivers an Exceptional Service Experience:
- Provides exceptional service to owners and passengers, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience. Regularly investigates and resolves service deviations to maintain quality standards.
- Collaborates effectively with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to deliver a consistent service experience to owners and passengers. Resolves conflicts and challenges constructively and professionally.
Maintains Proficiency and Compliance:
- Maintains all regulatory and company-required training and ensures recency of experience is consistently up to date.
- Complies fully with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program, promptly reporting any safety or non-compliance concerns through the appropriate channels.
Certifications and Licenses:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- First Class Medical Certificate.
Years of Experience:
4-6 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other (KSAOs):
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is preferred.
- FAA Type rating in applicable fleet required.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
Minimum Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours.
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours.
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours.
- PIC MEL: 500 hours.
- Instrument: 300 hours.
- Jet: 500 hours.
