EMB-550 Pilot - Saint Paul, MN
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a Berkshire Hathaway company and a subsidiary of NetJets, seeks a qualified and dedicated pilot for an EMB-550 aircraft based at Saint Paul Airport (STP) in Saint Paul, Minnesota. EJM has been a leader in aircraft management and worldwide jet charter services since 1977, offering unrivaled resources and operational stability within the world's largest private aviation infrastructure. This position supports a three-aircraft account with seven pilots and three dedicated Maintenance Technicians, operating under Part 91 to domestic destinations. This is not a commutable position; candidates must reside within driving distance of St. Paul Airport.
Responsibilities:
The EMB-550 Pilot is responsible for the safe operation of flight, delivering an exceptional service experience, and maintaining proficiency and compliance with all regulations and company standards. Specific tasks include:
- Ensuring crewing and trip assignments are compliant with company and regulatory requirements.
- Completing flight planning, performance, and weight and balance tasks.
- Utilizing Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead briefings and mitigate operational risks.
- Complying with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinating with company personnel. Acting as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Completing all aircraft pre-flight tasks, including verifying aircraft maintenance status. Recording aircraft discrepancies per SOPs.
- Ensuring all aircraft ground servicing (fueling, oil, oxygen) is monitored and accomplished per SOPs.
- Completing passenger briefings and delivering the highest level of customer service, meeting any special needs.
- Utilizing Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate effectively with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Providing quality service to owners and passengers, identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience, and resolving service deviations.
- Collaborating with crew members and EJM partners to provide a consistent service experience and resolve conflicts.
- Maintaining regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience.
- Complying with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting safety or non-compliance concerns.
Certifications and Licenses:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
- First Class Medical Certificate
Experience:
- 4-6 years of experience in aviation
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other (KSAOs):
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation preferred.
- FAA Type rating in applicable fleet.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
Minimum Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
