Pilot in Command / Captain
Overview:
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and professional Pilot in Command to join our aviation team. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure safe and efficient flight operations while delivering exceptional customer service. The Pilot in Command acts as the ultimate authority onboard, safeguarding passengers and aircraft, and adhering strictly to all regulatory and company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assume full responsibility as Aircraft Commander for the safety of all flights and passengers.
- Conduct all duties in strict accordance with the aircraft Flight Manual, company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and applicable aviation legislation.
- Prioritize the safe and efficient execution of each flight based on established company procedures.
- Maintain continuous and independent checks of the aircraft's geographical position and safe terrain clearance to ensure precise navigation.
- Execute all operational procedures and checklists as stipulated by the Airplane Flight Manual, Operations Manuals, and the Commander of the flight.
- Promptly report any occurrences or incidents that have endangered or potentially endangered safety.
- Report any observed fault, failure, malfunction, or defect that could potentially affect the airworthiness or safe operation of the aircraft.
- Consistently provide the highest level of customer service to ensure passenger satisfaction and contribute to customer retention.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Frozen EASA Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) with appropriate type ratings.
- Multi-crew flight experience (minimum 500 hours).
- Ability to demonstrate excellent performance standards.
- Successful completion of an upgrade course (Ground school and SIM) or eligibility for dispensation for Direct Entry Captains on Non-Commercial Operations.
- Successful completion of line training as a captain, including the line check for commercial operations.
- Extensive European flight experience is required.
- Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of two or more additional European languages is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Based within a 3-hour driving distance from Lisbon.
- Current EMB505 type rating.
- Minimum 3000 hours Total Time (TTL) as a Captain.
- Strong background in commercial aviation operations (EUOPS and/or AIROPS environment).
- Military or airline training experience.
