Executive Jet Management (EJM), a subsidiary of NetJets and a Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks a highly qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Gulfstream 450 aircraft based in Wilmington, DE (KILG). This is a 3-pilot account supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician and Cabin Attendant, operating under both Part 91 (150 hours) and Part 135 (425 hours) regulations.
The Pilot in Command bears the ultimate responsibility for ensuring the aircraft's safe, compliant, and efficient operation. They must adhere to all company and regulatory requirements while consistently providing an exceptional service experience.
The PIC's responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ensuring crew and trip assignments comply with regulations; completing flight planning, performance, and weight & balance calculations; leading briefings using Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) methodology to mitigate operational risks; complying with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinating with company personnel; completing thorough pre-flight tasks; monitoring and accomplishing all aircraft ground servicing items; conducting passenger briefings; utilizing Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate effectively with crew and support personnel. They will also act as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator, as defined by company policy.
The ideal candidate will deliver an exceptional service experience by providing high-quality service to owners and passengers, identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service, and collaborating with fellow crew members and internal partners to ensure consistent service delivery. The Pilot in Command will resolve conflicts and challenges effectively and professionally. The Pilot in Command must maintain regulatory and company-required training, recency of experience and comply with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program, reporting any safety or non-compliance concerns.
Minimum qualifications include prior experience in corporate/business aviation and an FAA GV type rating. The candidate must be able to perform all essential functions of the position. Specific time requirements include a minimum of 3500 hours total flight time, 1500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL), 2000 hours Pilot in Command, 500 hours PIC MEL, 300 hours instrument, and 500 hours jet.

Base salary ranges from $160,000 to $325,000 for Small/Mid/Supermid cabin aircraft and $160,000 to $425,000 for Large/Heavy/Premium cabin aircraft.
