Executive Jet Management is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pilot in Command to join its esteemed flight operations team.

Purpose of Position:
The Pilot in Command (PIC) will be based at Chicago Midway Airport (MDW), operating a CL350 aircraft. This position involves a two-aircraft account, supported by two full-time maintenance technicians, where the PIC will fly under Part 91 regulations to domestic destinations. The position involves an average of 300 hours per year of flight time, with crew members spending approximately 5-7 nights away from home each month. Trips are typically two days in duration, with some one-day assignments. The Pilot in Command holds the ultimate responsibility for ensuring the aircraft is operated in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner, and shall comply with all company and regulatory requirements while delivering an exceptional service experience.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Ensures the Safe Operation of Flight:
- Ensures crewing and trip assignments comply with all company and regulatory requirements.
- Completes detailed flight planning, performance, and weight and balance calculations for each assignment.
- Utilizes Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead required briefings and mitigate operational risks.
- Adheres to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and collaborates with company personnel as needed. Acts as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Completes all pre-flight tasks, including verifying the aircraft's maintenance status to ensure mission readiness. Accurately records any aircraft discrepancies per company SOPs.
- Ensures all aircraft ground servicing requirements (fueling, oil, oxygen, etc.) are properly monitored and completed according to SOPs.
- Conducts passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulations, providing exceptional customer service and accommodating any special passenger needs.
- Employs Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate with crew and support personnel in a clear and timely manner during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Delivers an Exceptional Service Experience:
- Provides superior service to owners and passengers, actively seeking opportunities to elevate the EJM service experience, and investigating and resolving any service deviations.
- Collaborates effectively with crew members and EJM internal partners to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for all passengers and owners. Resolves conflicts and challenges in a professional manner.
- Maintains Proficiency and Compliance:
- Maintains all regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience.
- Complies with company Safety Management System (SMS) and promptly reports any safety or non-compliance concerns through the appropriate channels.
Certifications and Licenses:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- First Class Medical Certificate.
Years of Experience:
4-6 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other (KSAOs):
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is preferred.
- FAA Type rating in applicable fleet.
- Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position.
- Minimum Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
