Executive Jet Management - Pilot in Command (PIC) - CE-680+ Aircraft
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a subsidiary of NetJets and a leading provider of aircraft management and worldwide jet charter services since 1977, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) to join its team. Purpose of Position:
This position is based at Boca Raton, Florida (KBCT) and involves operating a CE-680+ aircraft under Part 135 regulations. As a three-pilot account, this role will contribute to a more manageable schedule for the crew, particularly during peak travel seasons. Applicants must reside within a one to two-hour radius of KBCT and are not eligible for a home-based position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring Safe Flight Operations: The PIC is responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft, adhering to all company and regulatory requirements. This includes:
- Verifying compliance of crewing and trip assignments with company and regulatory requirements.
- Completing flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks for each flight.
- Leading required briefings using Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) methodology to mitigate operational risks.
- Strict adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinating with company personnel as needed. Acting as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Conducting thorough pre-flight inspections, including maintenance status, to ensure aircraft readiness. Recording all discrepancies in accordance with company SOPs.
- Monitoring and ensuring all ground servicing tasks (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) are completed according to SOPs.
- Conducting passenger briefings in compliance with company policy and regulations, providing the highest level of customer service and accommodating any special needs (e.g., physically challenged passengers).
- Utilizing Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate effectively and timely with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Delivering Exceptional Service: The PIC actively contributes to providing an exceptional service experience for owners and passengers by:
- Consistently delivering quality service, identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience, and investigating and resolving any service deviations.
- Collaborating with fellow crew members and internal partners to ensure a consistent service experience for owners and passengers. Effectively resolving conflict and challenges.
- Maintaining Proficiency and Compliance: The PIC upholds the highest standards of proficiency and compliance by:
- Maintaining all regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience.
- Complying with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting safety or non-compliance concerns through established channels.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation preferred
- FAA Type rating in applicable fleet
- Ability to perform all essential functions of the position
- Minimum Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3,500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2,000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
