Pilot in Command - CL350 Aircraft
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pilot in Command to join its team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (KFXE). As a subsidiary of NetJets, EJM is a leader in aircraft management and global jet charter services, renowned for its commitment to safety, service, and integrity.
This two-pilot account operates under Part 91 regulations and requires a dedicated professional with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and delivering an exceptional service experience to passengers.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring Safe Flight Operations:
- Comply with all company and regulatory requirements for crewing and trip assignments.
- Execute thorough flight planning, performance, weight and balance calculations for each flight.
- Utilize Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to mitigate operational risks and lead required briefings.
- Adhere to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinate with company personnel as needed.
- Act as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-flight inspections, including verifying the maintenance status of the aircraft to ensure mission capability.
- Accurately record all aircraft discrepancies in accordance with company SOPs.
- Monitor and ensure all aircraft ground servicing items (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) are completed according to SOPs.
- Deliver passenger briefings in compliance with company policy and regulations, providing the highest level of customer service and addressing any special passenger needs.
- Utilize Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate effectively and timely with crew and support personnel during all operational phases.
- Delivering an Exceptional Service Experience:
- Provide high-quality service to owners and passengers, identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience.
- Proactively investigate and resolve service deviations.
- Collaborate with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to ensure consistent service for owners and passengers.
- Effectively manage and resolve conflicts and challenges in a professional manner.
- Maintaining Proficiency and Compliance:
- Maintain all regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience.
- Comply with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and report safety or non-compliance concerns through the appropriate channels.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 4-6 years of experience.
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation preferred.
- FAA Type rating in applicable fleet.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Minimum Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
