Second in Command Pilot - Challenger 650
Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks a highly motivated and experienced Second in Command Pilot to join their team operating a Challenger 650 aircraft. Responsibilities:
The Second in Command Pilot plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of passengers while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and service excellence. Key responsibilities include:
- Flight Operations:
- Performing all flight duties in strict accordance with Company General Operations Manual, FAA regulations, Operations Specifications, Flight Manuals, and other pertinent instructions.
- Maintaining unwavering compliance with the company Safety Management System (SMS) program, proactively identifying and reporting any safety, security, or quality concerns.
- Collaborating effectively with the Pilot in Command to ensure safe and efficient execution of all flight assignments.
- Aircraft and Cabin Management:
- Conducting thorough post-flight inspections of the aircraft interior, addressing any cleanliness or equipment discrepancies.
- Proactively arranging and obtaining necessary cabin items, including catering, to ensure passenger comfort and satisfaction.
- Maintaining a pristine and welcoming cabin environment reflective of the highest standards of luxury travel.
- Professionalism and Administration:
- Communicating effectively and coordinating all work schedules and changes with the Chief Pilot.
- Maintaining accurate flight and duty time records, promptly reporting all external commercial flying activities to the Flight Operations Center.
- Ensuring timely submission of all required documentation, including maintaining a valid First Class Medical Certificate.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Flight Time:
- Total Flight Time: 2500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 500 hours
- Instrument: 150 hours
- Jet: 250 hours
- Turbine Engine: 100 hours
- Time in Type: 50 hours
- Certifications and Ratings:
- Valid FAA Commercial Pilot License
- Valid First Class Medical Certificate
- FAA Type rating in the applicable Fleet type (required)
- Challenger 650 rating and experience with similar aircraft size (preferred)
