Global 6000V Aircraft Pilot
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a subsidiary of NetJets and part of the world's largest private aviation infrastructure, seeks a highly skilled and experienced pilot to join its team. Purpose of Position:
This position is based at Bradley International Airport (KBDL) in Connecticut and involves operating a Global 6000V aircraft under Part 91 regulations. The pilot will be part of a six-pilot team, supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician and Cabin Attendant.
The Pilot in Command (PIC) assumes ultimate responsibility for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. The PIC adheres to all company and regulatory requirements while delivering an exceptional service experience to passengers.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Ensuring Safe Flight Operations:
- Comply with company and regulatory requirements for crew assignments and trip planning.
- Conduct thorough flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance assessments for each flight.
- Utilize the Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead pre-flight briefings and mitigate operational risks.
- Adhere to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinate with company personnel as needed. Act as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Perform comprehensive pre-flight inspections, including verification of aircraft maintenance status, ensuring the aircraft is mission-capable.
- Record all aircraft discrepancies in accordance with company SOPs.
- Monitor and ensure timely completion of all ground servicing requirements (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) in accordance with SOPs.
- Conduct passenger briefings as per company policy and regulations, prioritizing customer service and accommodating special needs.
- Utilize Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate effectively with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
Delivering an Exceptional Service Experience:
- Provide exceptional service to owners and passengers, identifying and addressing opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience.
- Collaborate with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to deliver consistent service to owners and passengers. Resolve conflicts and challenges professionally.
Maintaining Proficiency and Compliance:
- Maintain currency in regulatory and company-required training, ensuring recency of experience.
- Comply with the company Safety Management System (SMS) program and report safety or non-compliance concerns through appropriate channels.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements (KSAOs):
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is required.
- Extensive international experience is essential.
- Must be typed and current in the BBD700.
- FAA Type Rating in applicable fleet.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Minimum Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3,500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2,000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
Base Salary Range:
$110,000 - $432,000
