About the Opportunity
This position, part of a dedicated 3-pilot account with dedicated Maintenance Technician support, offers the opportunity to operate under both Part 91 and 135 regulations. The Global 5000V aircraft is currently based in Bedford, MA, with a planned relocation to Bradley International Airport (KBDL) in Connecticut in the coming months.
Responsibilities
The PIC holds ultimate responsibility for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. This includes:
- Safety Assurance: Ensuring all crew and trip assignments comply with EJM and regulatory requirements, meticulous flight planning and performance calculations, and leading pre-flight briefings using the Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) methodology.
- Operational Excellence: Maintaining a high level of situational awareness, adhering to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), coordinating with ground personnel, and diligently managing aircraft pre-flight and servicing procedures.
- Service Excellence: Providing passengers with an exceptional travel experience by conducting thorough briefings, anticipating needs, and maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor throughout each flight.
- Teamwork and Communication: Embracing Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) principles to communicate effectively with crew members and support personnel during all phases of flight.
- Professional Development: Maintaining regulatory and company-mandated training, adhering to the company's Safety Management System (SMS) protocols, and proactively reporting any safety concerns.
Qualifications
- FAA Type rating on the Global 5000V
- Proven experience operating within a corporate/business aviation environment
- Minimum Flight Experience:
- Total Time: 3500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
Location
Candidates must reside within a two-hour drive of Bradley International Airport (KBDL) in Connecticut.
