Position Overview: Flight Attendant

As a brand ambassador, the Flight Attendant delivers an elite, personalized travel experience, balancing uncompromising safety with bespoke hospitality. This role is responsible for the safety and comfort of our Owners, ensuring every flight reflects the unwavering standards of the NetJets signature experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and security of all passengers in accordance with the Flight Attendant Manual (FAM) and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Conduct comprehensive interior preflight inspections and serve as the subject matter expert on aircraft safety, entertainment, and comfort systems.
  • Source and manage high-quality catering that aligns with luxury standards and individual Owner preferences.
  • Deliver elevated inflight service, including premium food and beverage presentation, turndown service, and the execution of bespoke service profiles.
  • Manage cabin operations, including baggage stowage, pet care, and maintenance of cabin cleanliness.
  • Collaborate effectively with Pilots in Command, Owner Services, and internal teams to facilitate seamless flight experiences.
  • Complete all administrative duties, including inventory management, service reporting, and regulatory documentation.
  • Exercise independent judgment and innovative thinking to address complex issues in dynamic, high-pressure environments.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education: High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, customer service, business, or culinary arts preferred.
  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience in premium or luxury service industries, such as private aviation, yachting, concierge services, or Michelin-starred dining.
  • Age: Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to occupy jumpseats, maneuver within cabin dimensions, operate emergency exits, and lift up to 60 pounds occasionally.
  • Regulatory: Must be eligible for all necessary airport authority and U.S. Customs security credentials; must successfully pass all TSA background screenings.
  • Documentation: Valid passport with unrestricted international travel capability and a valid state-issued driver’s license.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Schedule: Flexibility to work a demanding schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with the ability to travel for seven or more consecutive days.
