Purpose of Position

The Flight Attendant serves as a brand ambassador, responsible for delivering an elite, personalized air travel experience while maintaining an uncompromising commitment to safety and security. This role combines safety leadership with refined inflight service and bespoke hospitality to exceed the expectations of every NetJets Owner.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and security of all passengers, maintaining strict adherence to the Flight Attendant Manual (FAM), Service Procedures Checklist, and all company Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Conduct thorough interior preflight inspections and serve as the subject matter expert on aircraft safety, comfort, and entertainment systems.
  • Deliver elevated inflight service, including premium food and beverage presentation, turndown service, and the execution of bespoke Owner profiles.
  • Source high-quality catering that meets luxury standards and aligns with specific Owner preferences.
  • Manage cabin-related tasks, including baggage stowage, cleaning, and organization, in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Facilitate a seamless experience for Owners traveling with pets or requesting smoking services while maintaining discretion.
  • Collaborate effectively with Pilots in Command, Owner Services, and NetJets Service Representatives to ensure operational excellence.
  • Proactively communicate cabin maintenance irregularities to the flight crew.
  • Complete all administrative documentation, including inventory, service passdowns, and crew reports.
  • Exercise independent judgment and innovative thinking to address complex issues in dynamic environments.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education: High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, customer service, business, or culinary arts preferred.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of professional experience, with preference for backgrounds in premium or luxury service industries (e.g., private aviation, yachting, Michelin-starred dining, or concierge services).
  • Age: Minimum twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Certifications: Must maintain required Flight Attendant certification and successfully complete the NetJets Part 135 Flight Attendant Training Program.
  • Language: Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Regulatory & Security: Must be eligible for all necessary airport authority and U.S. Customs security credentials; must pass all TSA background screenings.
  • Documentation: Valid passport and valid State-issued driver’s license.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to occupy jumpseats and secure safety restraints per FAA regulations; ability to maneuver within cabin dimensions; ability to exert up to 60 pounds of force.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to travel away from home for seven or more consecutive days and nights.
