Position Purpose

The Flight Attendant serves as a brand ambassador, delivering an elite, personalized travel experience. This role demands an uncompromising commitment to safety and security, acting as the face of NetJets by blending safety leadership with bespoke hospitality to exceed the expectations of every Owner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and security of all passengers in accordance with the Flight Attendant Manual (FAM), Standard Operating Procedures, and all company policies.
  • Conduct interior preflight inspections and serve as the subject matter expert on aircraft safety, comfort, and entertainment systems.
  • Source high-quality catering that aligns with luxury standards and specific Owner preferences.
  • Provide elevated inflight service, including premium food and beverage presentation, turndown service, and meticulous attention to Owner profiles.
  • Oversee the safe and regulatory-compliant stowage of cabin baggage.
  • Provide discreet, professional service for flights involving pets or smoking, while maintaining cabin excellence.
  • Collaborate effectively with flight crews, Owner Services, and internal teams to ensure a seamless flight experience.
  • Act as a primary liaison for Owners from the Fixed Base Operator (FBO) arrival through to the final destination.
  • Proactively communicate cabin maintenance concerns to the Pilot in Command.
  • Maintain accurate administrative documentation, including inventory reports and service passdowns.
  • Uphold high standards of aircraft cleanliness and organization.
  • Utilize critical thinking to resolve complex issues in dynamic, high-stakes environments.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, customer service, business, or culinary arts preferred.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of professional experience, preferably in luxury service environments (e.g., yachting, Michelin-starred dining, or high-end concierge services).
  • Age Requirement: Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to occupy assigned jumpseat, secure safety restraints without modification, and operate emergency exits. Ability to move objects up to 60 pounds.
  • Language: Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Legal/Security: Must be eligible to obtain all necessary airport authority and U.S. Customs security credentials; must pass all TSA background screenings.
  • Documentation: Valid passport and valid state-issued driver’s license required. Must maintain ability to travel internationally without restriction.
  • Compliance: Must successfully complete the NetJets Part 135 Flight Attendant Training Program and maintain ongoing FAA certification.

Working Conditions

  • Must maintain a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Flight duty periods may reach up to 14 hours daily over an 8-day period across multiple time zones.
  • Must be able to travel away from home for 7 or more consecutive days and nights while on duty.
  • Must demonstrate ability to manage personal rest to remain prepared for active duty.
