Pilot (First Officer) - Midwest Region

NetJets Aviation, Inc. is seeking a qualified Pilot (First Officer) to join their crewmember team. This role will be based in various locations across the Midwest Region of the United States, including but not limited to Rochester, MN, Chicago, IL, and Columbus, OH. The Pilot will be responsible for providing a superior air transportation experience, upholding an impeccable safety record, and delivering exceptional service to NetJets Owners and passengers.

About the Role

The Pilot is entrusted with the command of the aircraft and the overall passenger experience. Responsibilities extend beyond safe flight operations to encompass providing a concierge-level of service, including in-flight service, baggage handling, and acting as a liaison between passengers and the company. The role requires maintaining a professional demeanor at all times and adapting to varying passenger needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification or eligibility.
• Valid First-Class Medical Certificate.
• FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
• Valid passport and authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction.
• Ability to work varying hours, including days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Extreme flexibility and the ability to adapt to rapid changes.
• Capability to manage rest to be prepared for flight duty.
• Must be able to secure appropriate airport and/or US Customs security badges.
• Must pass Transportation Security Administration (TSA) background screening.
• Valid State driver's license.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.
• Must be service-oriented with a neat, well-groomed appearance and the ability to make a positive impression.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially under pressure.
• Demonstrated ability to make quick and accurate decisions with close attention to detail.
• Physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
• Ability to work around animals and handle them as needed.
• Ability to conduct flights for owners who smoke.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• 1,500 hours of total flight time, or
• 1,250 hours with an appropriate university R-ATP certificate, or
• 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification, or
• 1,000 hours with an appropriate university R-ATP certificate.
• 200 hours of cross-country flight time (>50 nm).
• 250 hours of fixed-wing Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
• 100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with at least 45 night takeoffs and landings.
• 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight).
• ATP written exam completed prior to the start of Indoctrination Training.
• 50 hours of fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
