About the Role
The Pilot is entrusted with the overall command of the aircraft, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of each flight from taxi to landing, adhering strictly to all FAA guidelines, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs). Beyond technical flying duties, the Pilot serves as the primary point of contact for passengers, delivering a superior service experience that encompasses pre-flight greetings, in-flight catering, baggage handling, and addressing the unique needs of passengers, including those with pets or who smoke. The Pilot acts as the ultimate authority on the aircraft, maintaining professional demeanor and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements, while effectively liaising between passengers and NetJets.
Requirements

High School Diploma

Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) or meet the requirements for FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate

First Class Medical Certificate

FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit

Valid Passport with authorization to work in the U.S. and travel internationally without restriction

Valid State Driver's License

Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking)

Ability to work varying hours, including days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Extreme flexibility and ability to adapt to rapid changes.

Ability to manage rest to ensure flight duty preparedness.

Willingness to be away from home for extended periods (seven or more days and nights).

Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.

Ability to pass Transportation Security Administration required background screening.

Service-oriented with a neat, well-groomed appearance and a demonstrated ability to make a positive impression.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly under pressure.

Ability to make quick, accurate decisions with close attention to detail (technical and passenger service).

Physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.

Ability to work around animals, including handling and care.

Ability to conduct flights for Owners who smoke.
Qualifications

At least 21 years of age

Minimum flight time experience based on one of the following:
-
1,500 hours total flight time
-
1,250 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate
-
1,000 hours with military pilot qualification
-
1,000 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate
-
200 hours cross-country (>50 nm) flight time
-
250 hours fixed-wing Pilot-In-Command (PIC)

100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings
-
75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight, excludes simulator time)
-
ATP written completed prior to start of Indoctrination Training
-
50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time
