About the Role
The Pilot is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of NetJets aircraft, ensuring a second-to-none safety record on every flight. Beyond technical flying duties, the Pilot serves as the primary representative of NetJets, delivering a concierge-level service experience. This includes pre-flight greetings, in-flight service, baggage handling, and acting as the final authority on aircraft operations. The Pilot must maintain a professional demeanor and adapt to the diverse needs of passengers, including those with pets or who smoke, and manage itinerary changes or in-flight service requirements.
Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification.

Current First Class Medical Certificate.

FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.

Valid passport with authorization to work in the U.S. and travel internationally without restriction.

Valid State driver's license.

Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.

Demonstrated ability to work varying hours, including days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Extreme flexibility and ability to adjust to rapid changes.

Ability to manage personal rest to ensure flight readiness at all times.

Willingness to undertake duty periods that may last up to fourteen hours per day for up to eight days, spanning different time zones and weather conditions.

Ability to be away from home for seven or more consecutive days and nights, staying in hotels.

Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or U.S. Customs security badges.

Successful completion of Transportation Security Administration required background screening.

Service-oriented demeanor with a neat, well-groomed appearance and the ability to make a positive impression.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly under pressure.

Ability to make quick and accurate decisions while maintaining attention to detail, both technically and in passenger service.

Physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly to move objects.

Willingness and ability to work around animals, including handling and care.

Willingness and ability to conduct flights for Owners who smoke.
Qualifications

FAA ATP, Restricted ATP (R-ATP), or meet requirements for FAA ATP or R-ATP with a multi-engine rating, adhering to FAR 61.160:

At least 21 years of age.

Minimum of 1,500 hours of total flight time experience.

Alternatively, 1,250 hours with an appropriate university R-ATP certificate.

Alternatively, 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification.

Alternatively, 1,000 hours with an appropriate university R-ATP certificate.

200 hours of cross-country (>50 nm) flight time.
-
250 hours of fixed-wing Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.

100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with a minimum of 45 night takeoffs and landings.

75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight, excluding simulator time).

ATP written examination completed prior to the start of Indoctrination Training.

50 hours of fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
