NetJets | First Officer

NetJets Aviation, Inc. is seeking a qualified Pilot (First Officer) to join their team in the West Region of the United States. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe and superior air transportation of NetJets Owners and passengers, upholding the company's commitment to safety, personalized service, and global access.

About the Role

The Pilot serves as the face of NetJets, delivering an exceptional service experience that extends beyond technical aviation expertise. This position demands a professional aviator capable of fulfilling various roles, including in-flight service provider, to ensure a concierge-level experience for all passengers. The Pilot is in command of the aircraft at all times, maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate the aircraft in accordance with all applicable FAA guidelines, OEM Checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs).
• Greet Owners/passengers, provide flight and itinerary briefings, and communicate any updates.
• Deliver in-flight service, including serving catering and alcoholic beverages.
• Load and properly stow all baggage on the aircraft.
• Accommodate passengers with pets and those who smoke.
• Act as the ultimate authority on aircraft operations, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory guidance.
• Serve as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets throughout their travel.
• Communicate and document any aircraft maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the Maintenance Control Center (MCC).
• Complete all required paperwork related to aircraft maintenance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification.
• Current First Class Medical Certificate.
• FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or meet the requirements for FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with multi-engine rating, including specific flight hour minimums (e.g., 1,500 hours total flight time, with alternative pathways for university or military experience).
• Specific flight experience requirements include: 200 hours cross-country, 250 hours fixed-wing PIC, 100 hours of night flying (or 75 hours with specific conditions), 75 hours of instrument time, and 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
• FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
• Valid passport with authorization to work in and travel internationally without restriction.
• Ability to work varying hours, including days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• High degree of flexibility and adaptability to rapid changes.
• Ability to manage personal rest to ensure readiness for flight duty.
• Willingness to work extended duty periods, potentially away from home for seven or more consecutive days.
• Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
• Must pass Transportation Security Administration (TSA) required background screening.
• Valid United States driver's license.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Service-oriented with a neat and professional appearance, capable of making a positive impression.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly under pressure.
• Ability to make quick, accurate decisions while paying close attention to detail.
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally for moving objects.
• Willingness to work around animals and accommodate smoking passengers.
