About the Role
The Pilot is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of NetJets aircraft, ensuring a seamless travel experience for all passengers. This includes technical flight operations, in-flight service, baggage handling, and acting as the primary point of contact for Owners and passengers throughout their journey. The role demands a professional demeanor, adaptability, and a strong service orientation, extending to managing flights for Owners with specific needs such as pets or smoking preferences. The Pilot is the ultimate authority on aircraft operations, adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification.

Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.

Authorization to work in the U.S. and unrestricted international travel.

Ability to work varying hours, including days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Flexibility and ability to adapt to rapid changes.

Capability to manage rest periods to ensure readiness for flight duties.

Willingness to be away from home for extended periods (seven or more days and nights).

Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or U.S. Customs security badges.

Ability to pass Transportation Security Administration required background screening.

Valid United States passport.

Valid State driver's license.

Fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.

Service-oriented with a neat, well-groomed appearance and the ability to make a positive impression.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly under pressure.

Ability to make quick, accurate decisions with close attention to detail.

Ability to exert moderate physical force to move objects.

Willingness to work around animals and conduct flights for Owners who smoke.
Qualifications

Meet the requirements for FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with a multi-engine rating, including:

At least 21 years of age.

1,500 hours total flight time, or equivalent combinations with university R-ATP or military qualification.

200 hours cross-country flight time.
-
250 hours fixed-wing Pilot in Command (PIC).

100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with specific night takeoff/landing minimums.

75 hours of instrument time.
-
ATP written completed prior to Indoctrination Training.

50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
-
FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.

Valid passport.
