About the Role

Act as the final authority on the aircraft concerning all operational areas, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory guidance, including FAA guidelines, Original Equipment Manufacturer's (OEM) Checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM) or Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs).
Execute safe aircraft operations from taxi, take-off, and landing for each flight.
Serve as the primary point of contact for NetJets Owners and passengers, providing a concierge-level service experience as the face of NetJets.
Greet Owners/passengers pre-flight, conduct introductions, brief them on the specific flight/trip, verify itineraries, provide weather updates, and deliver safety briefings, explaining any itinerary changes.
Deliver in-flight service as needed, including the handling of alcohol and the service of catering.
Load and properly stow all baggage on the aircraft as required.
Be prepared to conduct flights for Owners traveling with pets and those who smoke.
Act as a liaison for Owners/passengers and NetJets from their arrival at the FBO until their safe departure from the final FBO.
Responsible for properly communicating any maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the Company via the aircraft Maintenance Control Center (MCC) Controller.
Accurately complete all paperwork associated with maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies.

Requirements

Education

High School Diploma.

Certifications and Licenses

FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) written examination completed prior to the start of Indoctrination Training.
Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
Valid United States Passport, enabling international travel without restrictions.
Valid State Driver's License.
Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel in and out of the country without restriction.
Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges and pass Transportation Security Administration (TSA) required background screening.

Flight Time Experience

Minimum 21 years of age.
Meet FAA 61.160 requirements for an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with a multi-engine rating, including:
- 1,500 hours total flight time experience OR
- 1,250 hours total flight time with an appropriate university R-ATP certificate OR
- 1,000 hours total flight time with military pilot qualification OR
- 1,000 hours total flight time with an appropriate university R-ATP certificate.
- 200 hours cross-country (>50 nm) flight time.
- 250 hours fixed-wing Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
- 100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings.
- 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight, excluding simulator time).
- 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.

Qualifications

Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.
Service-oriented with a neat, well-groomed appearance and a demonstrated ability to make a positive impression, including strong capability to effectively interact with passengers.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially under pressure.
Demonstrated ability to make quick and accurate decisions while paying close attention to detail, both technically and from a passenger-service perspective.
Exceptional flexibility and adaptability to adjust to rapid changes in schedule and environment.
Ability to work varying hours, including day and night shifts; weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Capable of managing personal rest effectively to be prepared for flight duty at all times during tours.
Willingness to accommodate duty periods lasting up to fourteen hours per day for up to eight days, potentially spanning different time zones and extreme weather conditions.
Preparedness to be away from home for seven or more consecutive days and nights, staying in hotels.
Physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Comfortable working around animals, including handling and care prior to, during, and after Owner flights.
Ability to conduct flights for Owners who smoke.
