About the Role

The Pilot is responsible for ensuring the safe operation of company aircraft, delivering a superior air transportation experience for NetJets Owners and passengers. This position demands a high level of professionalism, technical expertise, and a commitment to exceptional service. Pilots will act as the primary point of contact, managing all aspects of the flight from pre-flight to post-flight, including in-flight services and passenger communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe operation of the aircraft in accordance with all applicable regulations and company procedures.
• Provide a high level of customer service to passengers, including pre-flight briefings, in-flight service, and itinerary management.
• Manage aircraft loading and baggage stowage.
• Accommodate flights involving pets and passengers who smoke.
• Serve as the final authority on aircraft operations, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidance.
• Communicate effectively with the Maintenance Control Center regarding aircraft discrepancies and required paperwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification.
• Current First Class Medical Certificate.
• FAA ATP, Restricted ATP (R-ATP), or meet the requirements for FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with multi-engine rating, including:
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Minimum flight hour requirements based on specific qualifications (e.g., 1,500 total flight time, 1,250 with university R-ATP, 1,000 with military qualification or university R-ATP).
  • Specific cross-country, fixed-wing PIC, night flying, and instrument time minimums.
  • ATP written completed prior to Indoctrination Training.
  • 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
• FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
• Valid passport with authorization to work in and travel internationally to/from the U.S. without restriction.
• Ability to work varying hours, including days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Extreme flexibility and adaptability to rapid changes.
• Ability to manage rest for duty preparedness.
• Willingness to be away from home for extended periods.
• Ability to secure required airport security badges.
• Successful completion of Transportation Security Administration required background screening.
• Valid State driver's license.
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Exceptional service orientation, neat appearance, and ability to make a positive impression.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially under pressure.
• Ability to make quick, accurate decisions with close attention to detail.
• Physical ability to exert force for object manipulation.
• Willingness and ability to work around animals and accommodate smoking passengers.
