About the Role
NetJets Aviation, Inc. is seeking a skilled Pilot to serve as a First Officer in the West Region of the United States. This role is instrumental in delivering an unparalleled private aviation experience, upholding NetJets' steadfast commitment to safety, exceptional service, and global accessibility. The First Officer will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft while providing a superior service experience to NetJets Owners and passengers.
Responsibilities

Safeguard the aircraft's operation during taxi, take-off, and landing, adhering strictly to FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs).

Engage with Owners/passengers pre-flight, providing flight details, itinerary verification, weather updates, and safety briefings.

Deliver in-flight services, including the service of food and beverages.

Manage and securely stow all baggage onboard the aircraft.

Accommodate flights for Owners with pets and those who smoke.

Serve as the ultimate authority on the aircraft, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory directives.

Act as the primary liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets from FBO arrival to FBO departure.

Communicate any aircraft maintenance issues or discrepancies to the Company via the Maintenance Control Center (MCC).

Complete all necessary paperwork related to maintenance abnormalities.

Perform other assigned duties as required.
Requirements
-
High School Diploma or equivalent.
-
Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification.
-
Current First Class Medical Certificate.

FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or meet requirements for FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) with a multi-engine rating.

Minimum age of 21 years.
-
Specific flight hour requirements: 1,500 hours total flight time, or 1,250 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate, or 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification, or 1,000 hours with appropriate university R-ATP certificate.

200 hours of cross-country flight time (>50 nm).
-
250 hours of fixed-wing Pilot-In-Command (PIC) time.

100 hours of night flying, or 75 hours with at least 45 night takeoffs and landings.

75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight, excluding simulator time).

ATP written exam completed prior to Indoctrination Training.

50 hours of fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
-
FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.

Valid passport.

Authorization to work in the U.S. and unrestricted international travel.

Ability to work varying hours, including days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

High degree of flexibility and adaptability to rapid changes.
-
Ability to manage personal rest to ensure readiness for flight duty.

Capability to handle duty periods up to fourteen hours per day for up to eight consecutive days, potentially spanning multiple time zones and experiencing extreme weather variations.

Ability to be away from home for seven or more consecutive days and nights, including overnight stays in hotels.

Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or U.S. Customs security badges.

Successful completion of Transportation Security Administration required background screening.

Valid State driver's license.

Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.

Exceptional service orientation with a neat, well-groomed appearance and the ability to make a positive impression.

Strong interpersonal skills for effective passenger interaction.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially under pressure.

Demonstrated ability to make swift, accurate decisions while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in both technical and passenger service aspects.

Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.

Comfort working around animals and assisting with their handling and care.

Ability to conduct flights for Owners who smoke.
