Pilot (First Officer) - West Region

NetJets Aviation, Inc. is seeking a qualified Pilot (First Officer) to join their team in the West Region of the United States. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional private aviation experiences, focusing on safety, service, and reliability.

About the Role

The Pilot is responsible for ensuring a superior air transportation experience for NetJets Owners and passengers, maintaining an unparalleled safety record. This position requires a professional aviator who also acts as an in-flight service provider, offering a concierge-level experience. The Pilot holds full command of the aircraft and must consistently exhibit a professional demeanor.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe operation of the aircraft in accordance with FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Aircraft Operating Manual (AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs).
• Greet Owners/passengers, provide flight and itinerary briefings, deliver weather updates, and communicate any itinerary changes.
• Provide in-flight service, including handling alcohol and serving catering.
• Load and properly stow all baggage on the aircraft.
• Accommodate flights for Owners with pets and those who smoke.
• Act as the ultimate authority on the aircraft's operation, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory guidance.
• Serve as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets from FBO arrival to departure.
• Communicate any maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the Company via the Maintenance Control Center (MCC).
• Complete all required paperwork for maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma

Certifications and Licenses

• Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP)
• First Class Medical Certificate

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)

• FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or meet the requirements for FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with multi-engine rating, including specific flight hour minimums for total time, cross-country, fixed-wing PIC, night flying, instrument time, and multi-engine time.
• ATP written completed prior to start of Indoctrination Training.
• Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate.
• FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
• Valid passport.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel internationally without restriction.
• Ability to work varying hours, including days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Extreme flexibility and ability to adapt to rapid changes.
• Ability to manage rest to be prepared for flight duty at all times.
• Capacity to handle duty periods up to fourteen hours per day for up to eight days, spanning different time zones and weather conditions.
• Ability to be away from home for seven or more consecutive days/nights, staying in hotels.
• Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or U.S. Customs security badges.
• Ability to pass Transportation Security Administration required background screening.
• Must have a valid United States passport and be able to travel internationally without restrictions.
• Valid State driver's license.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English fluently.
• Service-oriented with a neat, well-groomed appearance and the ability to make a positive impression and interact effectively with passengers.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially under pressure.
• Ability to make quick, accurate decisions with close attention to detail, both technically and from a passenger-service perspective.
• Physical ability to exert force to move objects as specified.
• Willingness to work around animals, including handling and care.
• Willingness to conduct flights for Owners who smoke.

Base Salary Range

$86,015 - $117,706
