NetJets Aviation, Inc. is seeking highly skilled and customer-focused Pilots (First Officer / FO) to join its East Region operations. This role focuses on delivering exceptional private aviation experiences from various locations across the Eastern United States, including key hubs like Boston, MA, Charlotte, NC, New York, NY, and Philadelphia, PA.

About the Role

As a First Officer, you will deliver a superior air transportation experience, upholding NetJets' unparalleled safety record. This role demands a professional aviator who serves as the face of NetJets, ensuring technically accurate and safe transportation while providing an exceptional concierge-level service to every Owner and passenger. The First Officer maintains full command of the aircraft and fulfills diverse responsibilities from flight operations to in-flight service.

• Ensuring safe aircraft operation during all flight phases (taxi, take-off, landing) per FAA guidelines, OEM Checklists, FOM, AOM, and SOPs.
• Briefing Owners/passengers on flight specifics, itinerary, weather, and safety.
• Delivering comprehensive in-flight services, including catering and alcohol.
• Handling baggage, and accommodating Owners with pets and those who smoke.
• Acting as final authority on aircraft operations, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory guidance.
• Serving as a direct liaison for Owners/passengers from FBO arrival to final destination departure.
• Documenting and communicating maintenance discrepancies to the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) Controller.

Requirements

Candidates must meet stringent FAA and company requirements.

• Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate and a current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
• FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
• Valid United States passport and State driver's license.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel internationally without restriction.
• Ability to secure all necessary airport authority, US Customs security badges, and pass TSA background screenings.
• Flexibility for varying work hours (days, nights, weekdays, weekends, holidays) and tours of duty up to eight days away from home, spanning diverse time zones and weather.
• Adherence to FAA ATP, Restricted ATP (R-ATP), or R-ATP eligibility requirements (IAW 14 CFR Part 61.160), including:
  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Total flight time: 1,500 hours; or 1,250 hours with appropriate university R-ATP; or 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification or appropriate university R-ATP.
  • 200 hours cross-country flight time (>50 nm).
  • 250 hours fixed-wing Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
  • 100 hours night flying (or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs and landings).
  • 75 hours instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight, excluding simulator).
  • ATP written examination completed prior to Indoctrination Training.
  • 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Service-oriented with a professional appearance, demonstrating effective passenger interaction and strong communication skills.
• Proven ability to make quick, accurate decisions with meticulous attention to both technical and passenger-service details.
• Physical capability to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, 30 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly.
• Ability to work around animals and conduct flights for Owners who smoke.
