About the Role
The Pilot serves as the final authority and face of NetJets, ensuring safe and efficient aircraft operation while delivering an exceptional service experience. Key responsibilities include:

Operate aircraft safely per FAA guidelines, OEM Checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manuals (FOM/AOM), and Standard Operating Practices (SOPs).

Provide comprehensive pre-flight and in-flight service, including greeting Owners/passengers, briefing itineraries, weather, safety, and managing catering/alcohol service.

Handle baggage and conduct flights involving Owners with pets or who smoke.

Act as a primary liaison for Owners/passengers; communicate and document any maintenance discrepancies to the Maintenance Control Center (MCC).

Education
Certifications & Licenses

Valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) written certificate (prior to Indoctrination Training).

Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.

FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.

Valid United States passport and State Driver's License.

Authorization for U.S. work and unrestricted international travel.
Flight Experience
Candidates must hold or meet requirements for an FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with a multi-engine rating, including the following minimums (IAW 61.160):

Minimum 21 years of age.

1,500 total flight hours; OR 1,250 hours with university R-ATP; OR 1,000 hours with military pilot qualification.

200 hours cross-country flight time (>50 nm).
-
250 hours fixed-wing Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
-
100 hours night flying, or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs/landings.
-
75 hours instrument time (actual/simulated in-flight, excludes simulator time).

50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSAOs)

Work varying hours (day/night; weekdays/weekends/holidays), demonstrating extreme flexibility and adaptability.

Proficiently manage rest for flight duty during tours (up to 14 hours daily for 8 days), involving diverse time zones/weather.

Willingness to be away from home for seven+ days/nights, with hotel stays.

Ability to secure airport/US Customs security badges and pass TSA background screening.

Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking, understanding).

Service-oriented, well-groomed, with effective passenger interaction.

Excellent oral/written communication skills, especially under pressure.

Demonstrated ability for quick, accurate decisions with meticulous attention to detail (technical & service).

Physical capability to exert up to 50 lbs occasionally, 30 lbs frequently, 10 lbs constantly.

Comfortable working around animals and conducting flights for Owners who smoke.
