Purpose of Position
The Pilot is responsible for providing a superior air transportation experience, maintaining a safety record second to none. As the face of NetJets, the Pilot provides technically accurate, safe transportation while delivering an exceptional service experience. The Pilot acts as a professional aviator and an in-flight service provider, maintaining full command of the aircraft and a professional demeanor at all times.
Tasks and Responsibilities

Ensure the safe operation of the aircraft during taxi, take-off, and landing in accordance with FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets manuals, and SOPs.

Conduct pre-flight passenger briefings, verify itineraries, provide weather updates, and manage flight changes.

Provide in-flight services, including catering management and the handling of alcohol.

Assist with the loading and proper stowage of passenger baggage.

Accommodate flights involving pets and passengers who smoke.

Serve as the final authority on the aircraft regarding operations, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Act as a liaison for passengers from arrival at the FBO until departure at the final destination.

Communicate maintenance abnormalities to the Maintenance Control Center and complete all associated documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications

Education:
High School Diploma.
-
Certifications:
Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate, FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit, and completion of the FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) written exam prior to starting Indoctrination Training.

Flight Experience:
Must hold an FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or meet the requirements per IAW 61.160, including:

Minimum age of 21.

1,500 hours total flight time (or 1,000–1,250 hours with applicable university or military credentials).

200 hours cross-country flight time; 250 hours fixed-wing PIC; 100 hours night flying; 75 hours instrument time; 50 hours fixed-wing multi-engine time.

Additional Requirements:
Valid U.S. passport; valid state driver’s license; legal authorization to work in the U.S. and travel internationally without restriction; ability to pass TSA background screenings and secure required security badges.

Physical and Operational Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays; and remain away from home for seven or more days at a time.
