Position Summary

NetJets, the global private aviation leader, is seeking a professional Pilot (First Officer) to join the East Region team. The successful candidate will provide a superior air transportation experience, ensuring a commitment to safety, personalized service, and professional excellence. The Pilot acts as the final authority on their aircraft and serves as a concierge-level representative for NetJets Owners and passengers.

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintain safe operation of the aircraft according to FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, and internal SOPs, including all phases of flight from taxi to landing.
  • Manage the pre-flight experience, including passenger greetings, safety briefings, and itinerary verification.
  • Perform in-flight service duties, including catering and beverage service.
  • Assist with ground operations, including loading and stowing passenger baggage.
  • Support diverse flight requirements, including flights involving pets or smoking passengers.
  • Act as a liaison for passengers throughout the entire travel experience.
  • Communicate and document maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies through the appropriate Maintenance Control Center (MCC) channels.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while operating under varied schedules, including weekends, holidays, and nights.

Requirements

Certifications and Licenses

  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) written examination completed prior to the start of Indoctrination Training.
  • Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
  • FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
  • Valid U.S. Passport.
  • Valid state driver’s license.

Flight Experience (IAW 61.160)

Candidates must meet the requirements for an FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate, including:

  • Minimum age of 21.
  • 1,500 hours total flight time (or 1,250 hours with university R-ATP; or 1,000 hours with military qualification/university R-ATP).
  • 200 hours cross-country flight time (>50 nm).
  • 250 hours fixed-wing Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
  • 100 hours of night flying (or 75 hours with ≥45 night takeoffs/landings).
  • 75 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated in-flight).
  • 50 hours fixed-wing multi-engine time.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
  • Ability to pass TSA background screenings and secure airport/US Customs security badges.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 30 pounds frequently.
  • Demonstrated service-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a high-pressure environment with rapid schedule changes.
  • Competencies: Adaptability, Collaboration, Results-Oriented, Service-Oriented, and Curiosity.

Education

High School Diploma required.

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary Range: $86,015 - $117,706
