Purpose of Position
The Pilot (First Officer) is responsible for providing a superior, safe, and efficient air transportation experience. Serving as the face of NetJets, the Pilot provides not only technically accurate flight operations but also an exceptional concierge-level service experience for every Owner and passenger. The Pilot maintains full command of the aircraft at all times, ensuring professional conduct and adherence to the highest safety standards.
Tasks and Responsibilities

Ensure the safe operation of the aircraft during taxi, take-off, and landing in compliance with FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets FOM/AOM, and Standard Operating Practices.

Greet Owners and passengers, conduct safety briefings, explain itineraries, and provide weather updates.

Deliver in-flight service, including catering and the handling of alcohol.

Manage luggage loading and stowage requirements.

Accommodate flights involving pets and smoking requirements.

Serve as the final authority on the aircraft regarding safety and regulatory compliance.

Act as a primary liaison for passengers from arrival at the FBO until departure at the final destination.

Communicate maintenance discrepancies to the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) and complete all necessary technical documentation.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education:
High School Diploma.

Certifications:
Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate; FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) written exam completed prior to Indoctrination Training.

Flight Requirements:
Must hold an FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or meet the requirements per FAR 61.160, including:

Minimum age of 21.

1,000–1,500 total flight hours (depending on specific certification path).
-
200 hours cross-country flight time; 250 hours fixed-wing PIC; 50 hours fixed-wing multi-engine time; 100 hours night flying (or 75 hours with 45 night takeoffs/landings); 75 hours instrument time.

General Requirements:
FCC Restricted Radio Operator’s Permit; valid passport; legal authorization to work in the U.S. and travel internationally without restriction.

Physical & Operational:
Ability to work flexible, irregular hours including weekends, holidays, and nights; ability to be away from home for seven or more consecutive days; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Documentation:
Ability to pass TSA background screenings and secure necessary airport/US Customs security badges; valid state driver’s license.
Base Salary Range
$86,015 - $117,706
