Purpose of Position
The First Officer is responsible for delivering a superior, safe, and professional air transportation experience. Serving as a representative of NetJets, the pilot ensures technical precision while providing concierge-level service to Owners and passengers. The pilot maintains full command of the aircraft and must demonstrate a consistently professional demeanor.
Tasks and Responsibilities

Ensure the safe operation of the aircraft during taxi, take-off, and landing in accordance with FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets manuals (FOM/AOM), and SOPs.

Act as a liaison for passengers from the initial FBO arrival to the final destination.

Conduct pre-flight briefings, including itinerary verification, weather updates, and safety procedures.

Provide high-quality in-flight service, including catering and beverage management.

Manage baggage loading and stowage requirements.

Accommodate flights for passengers with pets and those who smoke.

Serve as the final authority on the aircraft regarding safety and regulatory compliance.

Communicate and document any maintenance discrepancies through the appropriate Maintenance Control Center (MCC) channels.
Requirements and Qualifications

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Certifications:
Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate and a current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.

Regulatory:
FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit and a valid passport.

Flight Experience:
Must meet FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) requirements (IAW 61.160), including:

Minimum age of 21.
-
Appropriate flight hour requirements (ranging from 1,000 to 1,500 hours depending on qualifications/military service).

200 hours cross-country flight time.
-
250 hours fixed-wing PIC.
-
100 hours of night flying (or 75 hours with 45 takeoffs/landings).
-
75 hours of actual/simulated instrument time.
-
50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
-
Physical & Operational:
Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force; capability to work varying hours, including weekends, holidays, and extended tours spanning different time zones and weather conditions.

Security:
Must pass TSA background screening and obtain all necessary airport authority or US Customs security badges.

Communication:
Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking) is required.

Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary Range:
$86,015 - $117,706
