Purpose of Position
The Pilot (First Officer) provides superior air transportation with a focus on safety and exceptional service. Acting as the face of NetJets, the Pilot is responsible for technical aircraft operation and the delivery of concierge-level in-flight service. The Pilot maintains full command of the aircraft and ensures professional conduct at all times.
Tasks and Responsibilities

Operate aircraft safely during taxi, take-off, and landing in accordance with FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets FOM/AOM, and SOPs.

Provide exceptional passenger service, including briefings, weather updates, itinerary management, and catering/alcohol service.

Manage aircraft loading, including passenger baggage, and provide service for flights involving pets and smoking passengers.

Serve as the final authority on the aircraft regarding operational safety and regulatory compliance.

Act as a primary liaison for passengers from arrival at the FBO until departure at the final destination.

Communicate maintenance discrepancies to the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) and complete required documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education and Certifications
-
High School Diploma.
-
Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
-
FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
-
Completed written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) exam prior to the start of training.
Flight Experience
Candidates must meet FAA ATP or Restricted ATP requirements (per 14 CFR 61.160) including:

Minimum 21 years of age.
-
1,500 total flight hours (or 1,000–1,250 hours with qualifying military/university credentials).

200 hours cross-country (>50 nm) flight time.
-
250 hours fixed-wing Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
-
100 hours night flight (or 75 hours with ≥45 night take-offs/landings).
-
75 hours actual or simulated instrument time.
-
50 hours fixed-wing multi-engine time.
Operational and Physical Requirements

Valid U.S. passport and ability to travel internationally without restriction.

Valid state driver’s license.

Authorization to work in the U.S.
-
Ability to pass TSA background screening and obtain airport/customs security badges.

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and extended shifts (up to 14 hours/day, 8 days at a time).

Physical ability to occasionally exert up to 50 lbs of force to move objects.

Base Salary Range:
$86,015 – $117,706
