Role Overview:
NetJets pilots serve as distinguished ambassadors, delivering exceptional service to every NetJets Owner and passenger. They operate the industry's largest and most diverse fleet of private jets, transporting influential individuals to premier destinations worldwide. Responsibilities:
- Ensures the safe operation of the aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations, OEM checklists, NetJets Flight Operations Manual, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Greets Owners and passengers, provides flight briefings, and communicates itinerary and weather information.
- Delivers in-flight service, including handling of alcohol and catering.
- Loads and properly stows baggage.
- Manages flights for Owners with pets and those who smoke.
- Acts as the final authority on the aircraft, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Serves as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets.
- Reports maintenance discrepancies to the Maintenance Control Center (MCC) and completes related paperwork.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma.
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) written exam completion.
- First Class Medical Certificate.
- Must meet the requirements for FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with multi-engine rating, including:
- Minimum age of 21.
- 1,500 hours total flight time or equivalent R-ATP hours.
- 200 hours cross-country flight time.
- 250 hours fixed-wing pilot-in-command time.
- 100 hours of night flying.
- 75 hours of instrument time.
- 50 hours fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
- Current FAA First-Class Medical certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
- Valid passport with no international travel restrictions.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to work varying hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrated adaptability and ability to manage rest for flight duties.
- Ability to secure airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
- Valid state driver's license.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Service-oriented with a professional appearance.
- Excellent communication skills, especially under pressure.
- Ability to make quick, accurate decisions with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly.
- Ability to work around animals and manage flights for Owners who smoke.
Compensation:
Base salary range: $69,932 - $95,696.
