Nepal Airlines Corporation Seeks Experienced Airbus A320/A330 Pilots

Nepal Airlines Corporation is pleased to announce open contractual positions for highly competent and eligible pilots to join their esteemed Airbus A320/A330 fleets.

Available Positions:

• Instructor Pilot/Designated Check Pilot (DCP) Type A/Type Rating Instructor (TRI)/Type Rating Examiners (TRE) A320: 2 positions
• Captain, A320: 2 positions
• Instructor Pilot/Designated Check Pilot (DCP) Type A/Type Rating Instructor (TRI)/ Type Rating Examiners (TRE) A330: 3 positions
• Captain, A330: 3 positions

Contract Details:

• Type: Contractual
• Duration: Initial contract for one year

Minimum Qualifications:

All prospective candidates must possess the following:

• A330/A320 type-rated course completion certificate from a designated TRTO, with the rating endorsed on an ICAO/EASA/FAA/CAAN License.
• Class 1 medical certificate from the same Civil Aviation Authority that issued the License.
• Passport valid for at least one year.
• All necessary trainings and proficiency checks as required by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, valid at the time of induction to Nepal Airlines. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Pilot Proficiency Check
  • Refresher Training (Ground and Simulator)
  • CRM/DGR/SMS
  • Emergency Procedures
  • Low Visibility Procedures (CAT II, CAT III)
  • Computer Based Training (System)
  • RVSM
• Successful completion of Simulator/Line Check with company check airmen and/or CAAN.

Fleet Specific Requirements:

Instructor Pilot/Designated Check Pilot (DCP) Type A/Type Rating Instructor (TRI)/Type Rating Examiners (TRE), A320/A330:

• Valid ATPL License for ICAO Contracting State.
• Minimum ICAO/EASA/FAA English Level IV.
• Total Flight Hours: Minimum 5000 hours.
• Total PIC Time on A320/A330: Minimum 2000 hours.
• Total Instructor Time:
  • Minimum 1000 hours on A320/A330 fleet for Instructor Pilot.
  • Minimum 500 hours of instructional experience on A320/A330 fleet for TRE/TRI.
• Flight experience on A320/A330 within the last 12 months.
• Current on A320/A330 Type as per the regulations of the ICAO Contracting state that issued the license/validation certificate.

Captains A320/A330:

• Valid ATPL License issued by CAAN or ICAO Contracting State.
• Minimum ICAO/EASA/FAA English Level IV.
• Total Flight Hours: Minimum 2500 hours.
• Total PIC Time on A320/A330: Minimum 500 hours.
