Remote Captain Position
NV5 Geospatial, a leading provider of geospatial solutions in North America, seeks a highly motivated and collaborative Captain to join their team. This is a remote, full-time position offering a unique opportunity to travel and contribute to impactful projects while maintaining a flexible lifestyle. The Captain will operate as Pilot in Command on Cessna Caravan aircraft, adhering to FAA Part 91 regulations, aircraft limitations, and company procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as Pilot in Command on Cessna Caravan aircraft.
- Conduct flights in strict compliance with FAA CFR 14 Part 91 regulations, aircraft limitations, and company operating procedures.
- Execute flights to meet precise project specifications.
- Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate mission completion.
- Travel up to 75% of the time as required by project needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- FAA Multi-engine Commercial Pilot License.
- Instrument rated and current.
- 1,000 hours of total flight time.
- 250 hours of multi-engine flight time.
- Second Class Medical Certificate.
- Valid driver's license.
Note: Required minimums may be reduced for applicants from partner schools or with prior aerial survey experience.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, excellent communicator, comfortable working independently or in a team, a decisive problem-solver and enjoys field operations. Pilots can expect to fly 300-500 hours annually and travel as required by missions. This role features a schedule of 16 days in the field followed by 12 days off. The company covers travel to the aircraft, hotel, car, and meal expenses during deployment. Pilots have the flexibility to reside anywhere within proximity of a mid-tier or larger airport within the continental United States.
