Remote Captain Pilot Opportunity

Job Overview:

The Captain will serve as pilot in command on Cessna Caravan aircraft, conducting flights in strict accordance with FAA CFR 14 Part 91 regulations, aircraft limitations, and company operating procedures. This position requires the ability to travel up to 75% of the time, with deployment periods of 16 days followed by 12 days off. NV5 provides travel to the aircraft, along with lodging, transportation, and meals during deployment. The role is also part of the company's hearing conservation program.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Pilot in Command on Cessna Caravan aircraft.
  • Conduct flights in compliance with FAA CFR 14 Part 91 regulations, aircraft limitations, and company operating procedures.
  • Fly aircraft to meet project specifications.
  • Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate completion of each mission.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • FAA Multi-engine Commercial Pilot License.
  • Instrument rated and current.
  • Minimum of 1,000 hours total flight time.
  • Minimum of 250 hours multi-engine flight time.
  • Second Class Medical Certificate.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Applicants with experience from partner schools or prior aerial survey experience may have reduced minimum requirements considered.
