ATR First Officer Job Description

Mountain Air Cargo, an operator flying the ATR42 aircraft for FedEx feeder routes, seeks a qualified First Officer (FO) to join their team. This home-based floater position is based in the Eastern US and involves cargo operations across the Eastern US and Caribbean. The role offers a path for non-type-rated pilots, with ATPCTP provided for eligible new hires.

About the Role

• Operate ATR42 aircraft in adherence to flight manuals and Company Operations Manual.
• Perform weight and balance calculations.
• Supervise cargo unloading and off-loading.
• Assist the Captain with flight planning and manage employee/customer relations.
• Ensure accuracy of all required flight paperwork.

Requirements

• Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or Restricted Airline Transport Pilot (RATP) Certificate with Multi-Engine Land rating.
• Airline Transport Pilot Certificate Training Program (ATPCTP) will be provided for qualifying new hires.
• Valid 1st Class Medical Certificate.
• Current Passport.
• Must be a US Citizen or possess US Work Authorization.
• Minimum of 1500 Total Flight Time, or Restricted ATP (RATP) minimums as applicable.
• At least 500 hours of Pilot in Command (PIC) time.
• A minimum of 50 hours of Multi-Engine Land (MEL) time.
