American Jet International is seeking a highly qualified Captain to operate the Citation CE-560XL aircraft for its operations based in Dallas, Texas. This position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced pilot to join a Part 135 charter operation, prioritizing exceptional customer service and rigorous compliance with FAA regulations.
About the Role
The Captain will be responsible for commanding the Citation CE-560XL aircraft, ensuring safe and efficient flight operations. This role involves operating independently from a remote base, offering a distinct lifestyle compared to traditional Part 135 pilot positions. The incumbent will uphold the company's commitment to outstanding customer service and strict adherence to all applicable FAA regulations.
Requirements
- ATP certificate preferred.
- 2500 hours of total flight time preferred.
- Previous Part 135 experience preferred.
- Valid 1st class medical certificate.
- Proficiency in or ability to quickly become highly knowledgeable of 14 CFR and FAA regulations.
- Meeting the requirements of 14 CFR Part 135.243(a)(1) & (c).
- Acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Commitment to a zero-tolerance drug-free workplace.
- Must reside within a 45-minute commute of Dallas Love Airport (KDAL).
