Million Air/American Jet is seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious individual to join their flight operations team as a Second In Command (SIC) on the CE-500 aircraft. About the Role

The Second In Command (SIC) is a crucial member of the flight crew division, responsible for supporting the Pilot in Command in delivering outstanding service to charter customers. This role demands in-depth knowledge of company procedures and FAA regulations, ensuring safe and efficient flight operations. The primary objective is to provide safe and convenient air transportation in alignment with client demands, with a focus on the well-being of passengers and crew. This position offers a unique lifestyle option for pilots within the 135-charter fleet.

Responsibilities

• Ensure uncompromising safety standards in all operations, collaborating with the safety manager.
• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, fostering positive relationships with aircraft owners and passengers.
• Conduct pre-flight aircraft inspections to ensure cleanliness and upkeep.
• Maintain timely and effective communication through various channels, including in-person, phone, and email.
• Communicate customer preferences to flight operations.

Requirements

• Possess a Commercial Pilot Certificate; ATP minimums are preferred.
• Accumulate a minimum of 1000 hours of total flight time; previous 135 experience is preferred.
• Hold a valid 1st Class Medical Certificate.
• Be or become highly knowledgeable of 14 CFR and FAA regulations.
• Meet the requirements of 14 CFR Part 135.243(a)(1) & (c).
• Provide proof of COVID-19 Vaccination prior to the start date.

Qualifications

• Maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Successfully pass a background check.
• Adhere to a zero-tolerance drug-free workplace policy.
• Reside within a 45-minute radius of the base airport.

This is an exempt position with varying duty schedules, requiring flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and scheduled company holidays. Scheduling flexibility is essential.
