Aviation Pilot in Command
The Aviation Pilot in Command is responsible for safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, adhering to all safety regulations, aircraft flight manuals, and company policies. This role involves assisting the Aviation Manager with various flight operations, including personnel training, scheduling, maintenance, and safety/emergency management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operates assigned aircraft in full compliance with safety requirements, the aircraft flight manual, and all company and departmental policies.
- Assists the Aviation Manager with company flight operations, including personnel training, scheduling, maintenance, and safety/emergency management protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) License with fixed-wing multi-engine land aircraft rating is mandatory.
- Significant flight experience in a similar make and type of aircraft operated by the company is essential.
- Must meet the minimum aircrew requirements for Pilot in Command.
- Must possess and maintain a valid and current airman medical certificate.
- A minimum of 2500 total flight hours is required.
- A minimum of 1000 flight hours in jet turbine aircraft is required.
- A minimum of 1000 flight hours in multi-engine aircraft is required.
- A minimum of 1000 Pilot in Command (PIC) flight hours is required.
- A type rating for a Cessna 525 or similar aircraft is highly preferred. Must be able to obtain the 525 type rating within 6 months of hire.
