Qualifications
Prospective Helicopter Captains must meet stringent flight hour requirements, demonstrating comprehensive experience across various operational contexts:

A minimum of 2,000 hours total flight time.

At least 1,200 hours specifically in helicopters.

A minimum of 1,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in helicopters.

At least 500 hours operating turbine helicopters.

A minimum of 500 hours of cross-country (X/C) flight time.
