About the Role
Mesa Airlines, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Simulator Instructor to join their team at the Training Center in TRN. This full-time, permanent position involves delivering approved New Hire, Upgrade, and Recurrent training programs for pilots. The role requires a passionate educator with extensive knowledge of aircraft systems and procedures, capable of effectively identifying and rectifying student performance gaps.
Responsibilities

Conducting simulator training for new hires, upgrades, and recurrent pilot training programs.

Demonstrating enthusiasm and a passion for teaching.

Applying a high level of knowledge of aircraft systems and procedures.

Recognizing, identifying, and correcting student deficiencies.

Maintaining a high level of professionalism in appearance and demeanor.

Utilizing thorough knowledge of the GOM, CFM, FOTM, and company training materials.

Ensuring timely completion of student training records.

Performing other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements

Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) License.

Eligibility for an E-170 Type Rating as Pilot in Command (PIC).

A minimum of 1 year of experience as a PIC or Second in Command (SIC) in a transport category airplane.

Ability to successfully pass a 10-year background check.

Compliance with Flight Instructor qualifications as stipulated by 14 CFR 121.412.
